I can handle it when separate people say hateful things on this tag, whether they be asexual or consexual. There will always be hateful people in this world. But right now I have four blogs blocked. Two days ago, I had none. This meme war is incredibly unsettling. I feel alienated not only from a few people outside the community making generalizations, but also from people who I would normally consider a part of my community, because they are acting angry and spiteful and passive aggressive and you might think it is just or not of any consequence (they’re just silly meme pictures, what harm can they do?) but this is terrifying to me. I’m never good in high-anger situations, I am generally one of the ones trying to diffuse the situation or sitting frozen at the sidelines, unable to do anything. I want to make it clear, all this anger is doing nothing. Well, that is not strictly true. It’s making me cry. It’s making whichever side you are fighting against feel justified, personally attacked. It’s making any observers witness all this anger, and making them pick sides. I’m tired of this. Can it please stop. I don’t really know what else to say to try to convince you, but please. Can anyone who sees this, even if they are not involved, attempt to diffuse the situation? Being polite helps a lot. I asked politely for homophobicaces to perhaps change a few things in their description to show that this isn’t representative of all aces, and they responded very civilly and did so. No one is a monster, even if they seem angry or hurtful or stubborn. Most will listen if you make reasonable arguments and don’t attack them while doing so. So. Please.

I’m sorry if this is confusing, I realize who it is addressing jumps around a lot, but I am very confused right now as well, so I hope you’ll excuse me. If this seemed aggressive at all, I apologize. I don’t like it when I make other people feel attacked, so I hope I succeeded in not doing so. 

(I am going to stop here, I tend to ramble if I stare at my words too long.)

oh my gosh I keep getting people with like 7,000 points won from dueling and then people who have like 0 points and I just feel cheated  when there are people who obviously have tons of experience/skill and then I feel like a big jerk when I win against people with no points because I am stopping them from getting points…

also Slytherin is ahead by a little bit but Slytherin, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are all pretty close in the house cup and then Hufflepuffs have like 3,000,000 less points than everyone else… we are supposed to be the hardworking house right? do people just hate being in Hufflepuff that much??? because ngl I think it is totes swag. (unironically.) I mean, loyalty, tolerance, honesty… those are like the most important characteristics to me? I can see why other people like the other houses, too, but why are people so hung up on it? Hufflepuff doesn’t demote people to being weak or stupid or timid any more than people in the Slytherin house are evil, people in Ravenclaw emotionless, or people in Gryffindor foolish. People can’t be so easily sorted.
